and why exactly are you “not ready” to believe the “cd stuff”? Is there a time in the future when you will be ready? And have you marked your calendar? Are you studying, or at least educating yourself down that path? I’m being critical of you because theres too many American people who feel like you, but they’re just “not ready”. I thought his talking points were valid. Questions about 911 never hurt unless the answer incriminates the person answering them.
I don’t know what to believe regarding 911, but I’ve got a pretty good idea of what NOT to believe. And I don’t believe much coming from our current federal government’s mouth.
I actually share a similar understanding and concern about the events and the media.
I thank Jesse Ventura for deflecting and exhorting the flaccid media that surrounds him, for the most part. And all of us.
Of course he’s right.
My last (and I mean last) partner is a structural engineer who had an interest in demolitions. He took me to a demolition in San Francisco, oddly, upon reflection, twin towers. We sat on a hill, about the same distance and perspective as Aaron Brown (lame) had on CNN on the day.
What I saw that day was so similar in terms of the sounds of explosions. The building kept standing. Over and over, small explosions. Then after a pause, a huge blast and the first building went down. With the last explosion, the falling was visible before the sound got to us. We could see the blasts before we could hear them.
But this did not happen exactly on schedule. We sat on the hillside under some cypress trees in the morning on a weekend. Other people were around us and I asked when it was going to start.
He must have taken the question as a sign of my boredom. He began to show off his engineering (he’s a pro) by telling me in a voice loud enough to be heard by several people right around us, exactly how much engineering goes into buildings like these.
He described all of the various supports and how intertwined and redundant they are. For our safety. “Buildings,” he told me, “can’t just fall in on themselves. It’s much easier to pull them over, but you can’t do that in a city. That’s why there are professionals who do this. You see it in Vegas.”
He described how the implosions would have to be done in sequencing by computer with a series of placed charges targeting each of the various supports. There must be a progression to produce a good result.”
That really is more of a paraphrase, but he did not know when he told me this that I was NOT bored, but very interested and listened to him and loved THIS about him. he really could make the complex understandable in a fundamental sense.
I knew on the day that the towers were aided. It was absolutely confirmed when wtc7 came down.
Any news organization or reporter who denies questioning is the worst, and it is one of the reasons I have difficulty with the ever-more mainstream pacifica stations and Amy Goodman. (on the 7th anniversary she implied strongly that the towers came down by terrorists and planes. She almost claims victimhood by proximity, as if the rest of us were not part of the event and cannot understand at all. Maybe we lack a certain perspective, but we get the bigger picture. Maybe we see the trees, from where we sit, and not just the forest, watching from our tvs.)
Jesse is right. These are the questions responsible PROFESSIONAL reporters should be asking HIM. EVERYONE!

CD (if that means controlled demolition) is HIGHLY unlikely. Watch both towers collapse. Notice how the collapse STARTS at exactly where the plane hit. When you watch CDs the building ALWAYS collapse starting at the bottom.
Now, CD most likely happened in WTC7. The building collapses from the bottom. But the other two towers collapsed due to something else.
If people aren’t awakened that it is crucial that a true independent investigation of 9/11 be conducted, I don’t know what will awaken them. Asking questions about 9/11 shouldn’t place you in the category with “conspiracy theorists”. I think now many people are beginning to ask more intelligent questions. Everybody can’t be crazy or paranoid for asking obvious questions.
The mainstream media who interviewed Ventura remind me of the people I talk to on a daily basis, including my relatives, who are completely conditioned by the two main political parties (Republicans and Democrats). They can’t break the conditioning because they continue to soak in everything MSNBC, CNN and Fox says. They CANNOT think outside of the box, and often participate in what Orwell called “Groupthink”.
It’s a sad day when you think in a country that is supposed to be free, you are ridiculed and stereotyped as crazy. You’re actually considered normal is you simply go along to get along. And we wonder why our children cannot fight peer pressure. Most adults can’t even fight peer pressure. Over the water coolers, if two people say George Bush is a wonderful president and he is doing a good job protecting us from those “terris”, the average adult would go along with it to get along with everyone else.
Well, I hope this country gets McCain and Palin for president. Not because I am supporting them but I hope that all of the brainwashed Fox followers who drank the the “Kill those Terrorist!” Kool-Aid will experience what they are planning to unleash in this country and throughout the world. They really believe we are going to war with all of these countries to erradicate Muslim extremists. They really believe that we must attack any country on this planet if they just look at us the wrong way. Well, so be it. We’ll go through pure hell together but I’ll get to say, “I told you so!” And I will.
Republican and Fox News followers frustrate me more because they don’t even question anything. They are totally brainwashed. The Democrats, though also conditioned, at least express some concern and ask some questions. My relatives who are Democrats at least know something is wrong with the information they receive but they just keep going back to the Democrats out of pure laziness. I think they just don’t want to raise a stink because if they don’t get elected, they can’t implement more socialist policies.
It will unfortunately take more tragedy for the citizens in this country to wake up.
And would someone please tell Sarah Palin that 9/11 had nothing to do with the Iraq War! We will have to give her a copy of the 9/11 Commission Report so that she can speak intelligently. No 9/11 re-investigation will come from her mouth. You can bet your bottom dollar on that. She sticking to her talking points.

The reason reporters of the mainstren media doesn’t ask questions is because they know it would be career suicide. And not to be disrepectful, but the reason why third parties are not allowed to debate is not because of Ross Perot but because of Jesse. I am a former major market/network news anchor and reporter. As did many reporters, I covered Watergate and that included coverage of news conferences and interviews with Richard Nixon, Senate Chairman Sam J. The funniest thing about this video is that the whole time, all He was doing was asking questions, and it appeared the MSM reporters kept trying to get him to speculate answers. Did anyone notice someone coming in to take the mike from the guy sitting next to Jesse?
Apparently those reporters are worried that others will start asking THEM how come they have not asked those same questions, and why are they all just eating these simplified answers like cake.
Perhaps those reporters became so hostile because they know that with jesse asking those questions, people will start to wonder if they are truly a “free” press, or if perhaps they are bought and paid for like so many other things.
All of Jesse’s questions make you go “Hmmmm, why is that?” and you realize NONE of the answers make sense. But with education so piss poor these days, no wonder logic, sense and basic science is lost on so many people around the country.
The most amazing thing is how servile the journalists have become. They simply don’t seem to understand their role in a functioning democracy, and when Jesse repeatedly suggests they should be investigating and asking the questions of the government and not him, they reject the idea out of hand. With investigative journalism so suppressed, there is no hope for the “truth” to come out now or in the future. Very sad for “democracy” that this is going on.
I went to see Gov Ventura speak that night in Mesa. He is a really motivating speaker and has nothing but good and valid questions. It’s truly inspiring to see someone who can serve a term in government and return to citizenship like he did. Someone who makes politics a career starts to focus on whats going to be good for themselves rather than the people they are there to serve. Free speech doesn’t protect popular speech, but the unpopular speech.

I believe Jesse Ventura is a knowledgeable, patriotic, honorable man who should be congratulated for his position on 9/11. His questioning of the many unanswered issues surrounding 9/11 should be publicized and the media should cover all aspects of the “mystery” of 9/11. Ventura held his ground against his “interviewers”, who didn’t impress me at all.
I found some of them to be less than serious about the subject matter. They came across as fflip and, at times, somewhat disrespectful.
TThe tragedy of 9/11 is increased by the suspicion that it was possibly contrived by our govt. to create and initiate a national “unity” to be manipulated by the powers that be, to want to go to war.
One must realize, the manipulation of a people can happen, when those in control of the people are able to rationalize the need for that manipulation! It good to hear that more people are waking up to the truth about their reality… I found out their agenda in a rap song about 9/11 by an Australian artist, Eye. I did not reveal my findings to anyone til I across a Wal-Mart customer who knew something was wrong w/ our current administration.

Having interview Jesse myself for a solid hour, and read his book, he’s probably one of the few thinkers in this country today. He does a great job explaining the inconsistences (to say the least) of 9/11, where others want to “move on” although we’ve suffered two wars, the Patriot act, and the fall of our economy since the “big lie”.

Jesse Ventura is spot on as so many millions of other Americans who suspected initially or now strongly suspect, or know that 9/11 was a pre-planned operation that fit into a very timely sequence of events. First, the pre-warned bombing of Afghanistan (announced to the Taliban and others in mid-October), then the obviously extremely well-prepared and groomed PATRIOT ACT, a 330+-page legally-worded document to take away our rights, from a government that couldn’t come up with (or didn’t even care about) a decent, well-thought out 100-, 75-, or even 20-page plan to ‘go to war’ and tear apart an entire country while sacrificing hundreds of thousands of its citizens (let’s say a few hundred thousand prayers for them), thousands of our well-intentioned soldiers (likewise to honor), and providing US basing for an ongoing presence in the oil- and gas-rich Middle East and Central Asia region.
It must have been planned at a level where it would fit into the grander scheme of PNAC (google it) plans for American global hegemony, expanding the Bush family ‘empire’, neo-con political ascendance, quelling domestic opposition, and installing the infrastructure for militarization of law enforcement, domestic spying, and all kinds of corporate giveaways.
On federal lands, mining claims have accelerated, vast acreages of federal timber are being attempted to be slicked off, and government agencies have been loaded with corporate cut-outs with little expertise for the administrative jobs they are given rather than choosing public-, progressive, or environmentally-minded people. , I don’t need to say much more about that.
Mr. Ventura is a hero, but we need lots more heroes to step up to unravel this god-awful neo-conspiracy and the slashing down of our baby–constitutional democracy. We need to look not only to highly visible heroes, but to every one of us who believes in freedom, justice, and ‘The Truth’ and is willing to stand for it. We need a basically honest discourse with what is happening in our country and in the world more than ever. Be brave, time is short.

It was interesting to read Neal Bales’ posting above about the Zionist/neocon plot to create a reason to attack Iraq. You have it wrong Neal. The islamofacists created their own reason and the govt let it happen. I believe the government knew ahead of time about their plot but chose not to reveal it so that they could use it as a reason to complete their agenda. There was no conspiracy in this, as, if there was, it could not have been kept a secret with the large number of people who would have to be sworn to secrecy. All that was done was to delay any significant counter actions that would have stopped the plot dead in its tracks; to let the towers be hit, let the Pentagon be hit, but not to let the White House, or Capital building be hit by flight 93. That plane was shot down at the same time as the passengers decided to “roll”. Having those buildings destroyed would not be allowed. The questions Jesse is asking will resurface again and again until a significant number of people have the courage to call for answers.
I’m very happy to see that Jesse Ventura has come around to deeply suspecting the official story of 9/11. Years ago I considered him to be little more than a dumb jock militarist with a basically good heart, but now he’s one of my top heroes!
